Jelle and Gio sign at FC Utrecht

Today was a real festive day for Giovanni Troupée and Jelle de Lange. Both talented players signed their first professional contract at their club FC Utrecht.

Both players have been rewarded for all the hard work they have put in their football career since early age.

Elton renews contract with Ajax

Elton Acolatse speelt als sinds 2003 bij Ajax.
Ajax and Elton-Ofoi Acolatse have agreed on a contract renewal. The previous contract was until 30 June of this year and today the two parties have agreed to a new and better contract until 30 June 2018.
Acolatse was born on 25 July 1995 in Amsterdam and has been with Ajax since 2003.
On 17 January 2014 Elton made his debut in Jong Ajax, when 19 years old, in the Jupiler League match against FC Emmen (4-0). Since then Elton played 21 official matches in this team and was able to score four times.

A proud Acolatse talked to AjaxTV after signing his new contract: “I have worked really hard for this. I see this new contract as a reward. It shows that Ajax has faith in me and that both parties have plans for the future. My goal is, obviously, to play for the first team. Each training I work hard in order to reach this goal.”

Appie renews contract in presence of his family

Ajax and Abdelhak Nouri have signed the renewal to his contract. The 17 year old Ajax player signed his new contract that is valid until 30 June 2018 in the presence of Wim Jonk, Marc overmars, Edwin van der Sar and Michael Kinsbergen. Ajax and Nouri have come to a new agreement during the trainings camp in Qatar. The A-junior made his debut in the first team in Qatar. “I am very pleased that all is finalized” said Nouri shortly after the signing. “You know this day is coming. And to be able to sign this contract in the presence of all my family makes it extra special. A lot has happened in the last few weeks, but luckily I was able to keep my focus.”

Head of youth department, Wim Jonk, was also very content with this renewal. Jonk has worked with Nouri since many years. “Appie is a player that you would love to go to the stadium for” typifies Jonk the #10. “He is a marvelous player to watch. Appie is creative, quick and plays with his instinct. In his game he is able to come up with super fast solutions. The latter is one of his biggest strengths. He adapts quickly to new circumstances.”

Mauro Savastano makes training debut with first team of Ajax

Mauro Savastano is the next A-junior that get the chance to train with the first team of Ajax. Today the left full back of Ajax A1 will train with the group of Frank de Boer. Savastano is developing rapidly in the A1 team, where he has become of vast value as a left full back. This resulted in his first contract with Ajax, which he signed earlier this month. Now it is time for the next step in his development. De Boer included Abdelhak Nouri, Donny van de Beek, Vaclav Cerny and Indy Groothuizen in his group, but now Savastano also gets the chance to act on the highest level.

Ellen Hoog – Player of the Year 2014!

IMG_8525The International Hockey Federation (FIH) is delighted to announce the winners of the FIH 2014 Player of the Year Awards.

Dutch superstar Ellen Hoog has been unveiled as the women’s International Player of the Year for 2014.

Versatile midfielder, Ellen made her international debut at the age of 17, and has two Olympic gold medals, two World Cups wins and a Hockey World League title to her name, as well as numerous other championships and awards.  Ellen was also announced as player of the tournament at the 2014 Hockey World Cup.

Ellen faced tough competition in the women’s category, in which she was shortlisted alongside team-mate and previous double winner of the title, Maartje Paumen and eight time title winner Luciana Aymar, who retired after leading Argentina to victory in the 2014 Champions Trophy.  These three were joined on the shortlist by another player from the World Cup winning Netherlands team, Lidewij Welten and by Team USA Captain Lauren Crandall. In the end; Ellen won the title of Player of the Year 2014!

Since 2012, Muy Manero is the management agency of Ellen and it goes without saying that we are immensely proud and very happy!!
