Tim Brinkman signs contract at FC Utrecht

Utrecht, 22 December 2015 – FC Utrecht has secured the services of Tim Brinkman (18) for the seasons 2016/17 and 1017/18. The left-footed defender has signed his first professional contract at FC Utrecht and will be part of the U19 FC Utrecht squad for the remainder of this season.

The in Bilthoven born player transferred to Utrecht in 2010. Before FC Utrecht he played for Ajax and DOSC in Den Dolder.

“Tim is a player with a natural drive, is consistent in his play and has the urge to play forward”, says technical manager Erik ten Hag. “It is up to Tim to make the next step to the A-squad. We are proud to have signed a player that we has been in our academy for so long.”

Verdonk: ‘Great Christmas Present’

Rotterdam, 21 December 2015 – Calvin Verdonk has renewed his contract at Feyenoord. After a disappointing first half of the season, Verdonk ends this year with a personal highlight. The 18 year old defender has put a signature under his renewed contract that will tie him to the club until mid 2020. “A great Christmas gift, not only for me but also for my family who support me a lot’.

“Calvin is one of the bigger talents here at Feyenoord”, says technical directoy Martin van Geel. “It is a boy that keeps an overview of the match, great left foot and lots of speed. He has a great future ahead of him. He will have to work hard to achieve this and we are here to support him  with this. ”

Brenet 8+ from critic Henk Spaan

A beautiful score given by Henk Spaan to PSV’s defender, Joshua Brenet. His performance during the Champions League match against Manchester United didn’t stay unnoticed. Spaan compliments Brenet on his quick footwork, passing skills and his impassioned play. Therefore an 8+.

Let’s hope we can enjoy more of Brenet’s play against CSKA Moscow upcoming Tuesday.
