Joshua Brenet makes debut in Dutch National Team

In the match against the Belgian National Team (1-1), Joshua Brenet (22), made his debut in the Dutch National Team. Joshua, who plays for PSV, said after his debut match „Proud to have made my debut in the National team! Unforgettable moment.”

Rick Kansdorp got injured and this gave Brenet the chance to show what he’s worth. Joshua played well and even had a wonderful solo with a shot at goal that almost resulted in a goal.

Head coach, Danny Blind, was positive about Brenet after the match: “He did very well and alsmost made a 2-0, unfortunately he wasn’t able to finish off his shot.I am happy how he played and it shows his qualities, on which I have selected him.”

As a result, Blind showed Brenet the confidence he has in him and started the qualifying math against Luxembourg with Joshua in the squad.

We are proud of how Joshua played his matches! The first (of hopefully many more to come) to come out for the Dutch National A Team!
